On July 23rd, Microsoft plans to host its Xbox Games Showcase, revealing Halo: Infinite's campaign for the first time as well as a selection of other future Xbox titles.

During this event, Microsoft's Aaron Greenberg, the GM of Xbox Games Marketing, has confirmed that their showcase will be dedicated purely to games. Expect 'No business, devices or similar news.' Given this announcement, Xbox fans shouldn't expect to hear about the Xbox Series X's pricing or release date at this event. Xbox fans should expect to see new games for Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Windows 10 PCs.

The Xbox Games Showcase will be hosted on Thursday, July 23rd at 9 AM PT, a time which translates to 5 PM BST (UK time). The steam will be hosted on YouTube, Facebook and Twitch. The initial stream will be available at 1080p 60 FPS, and VoDs of the event will be available at 4K 60 FPS. This event will last 'about an hour' and be'focused on games'.

With all first-party Xbox titles coming to PC, Microsoft's Xbox Games Showcase will be a huge event for both console and PC gamers alike. Everything from Microsoft will be available on Windows 10 and Xbox Series X, which means that Microsoft's showcase will release what the next generation of PC games has to offer.

What time will the Stream be viewable in my region?

To answer this question, Microsoft provided the following Tweet, which covers many of the world's major time zones.

Only problem with this game is 343 are making it. Which leaves an immense amount of probability that it will suck. 343 have only ruined the franchise. This game is make or break for many Halo fans.

Definitely not a pre order but remaining tentatively hopeful it's good.Quote

I've heard everything from it's going to be like the original Halo games i.e single player game with story to a live service game, I'm with NBD, Not pre-ordering but I am interested.Quote

Im done with games as a service. They suck you in and force you to grind your soul away... and for loot.

On top of that, Destiny and Division have given me such a backlog of titles ive yet to look at its nuts. I need to start on these. Plus its nice to pause at any time and take a break/walk the dog and not feel like you are missing out on something.Quote

Folks, settle down.

If you are willing to call yourself a fan of something, you are a fan of something. This "true fan" nonsense is unnecessarily divisive.

Some fans like the Bungie games, some fans prefer the 343 games, some fans think Halo: CE is the one and only true Halo, and some people love them all. They are ALL fans.

You can have your own opinions, but don't say someone isn't a fan because they don't like what you like or vice versa.

Are you a fan of The Witcher? Are you a fan of the books, games, TV show, or all three? All options are equally valid. Everything has different types of fans. Quit being childish or I will put my Moderator hat on.Quote
