Ubisoft tease three new gaming titles for E3 2017

E3 2017 is coming to be a big event for gamers all over the world, coming with the first gaming titles for Xbox One Project Scorpio and being the first E3 event after the release of both the Nintendo Switch and PS4 Pro.

For Ubisoft, E3 2017 will be the event where the publisher will be bringing several game series’ back into the limelight, recently teasing a new Assassin’s Creed game, a new Far Cry game and a new game in The Crew series.

Ever since the release of Assassin’s Creed Unity, Ubisoft has sent their design teams back to the drawing board to bring the series back into it’s “glory days”, not only by bringing players into a new historical location but by developing a whole new gaming experience with different quests, gameplay styles and more. Let’s hope that the copy/paste Assassin’s Creed games of old are a thing of the past and that Ubisoft can create something that is completely fresh here.

Ubisoft has not revealed any details on Far Cry 5, other than the fact that it is a numbered game in the mainline Far Cry series of games. Hopefully, this will be a return to form for the series after the release of Far Cry Primal, which while unique had a very mixed reception from critics and gamers alike.

With the Crew, many saw the game as a missed opportunity, being unable to satisfy the hardcore racing crowd while offering a very mixed bag in terms of content for even arcade racing fans. The Crew 2 will need to capitalise on the game’s strengths as a Need for Speed: Underground 2 style racer and hopefully launch with fewer issues on the PC platform.
