Two new Gigabyte B450 Aorus motherboards have been spotted online, delivering a higher-end take on AMD's upcoming value-oriented chipset, providing beefier VRM heatsinks for overclocking and luxury features like M.2 cooling solutions.

The first of these motherboard offerings, the ATX Aorus B450 Pro, packs most of the features that one would expect on an X470 motherboard, which includes an 11-phase VRM solution, dual M.2 slots and six total SATA 3.0 ports.

Gigabyte's B450 Aorus Pro includes a single PCIe x16 3.0 connection, which is reinforced to deliver enhanced durability. The second PCIe x16 slot is physically gen 3.0 x4 and shares its PCIe lanes with the board's top M.2 slot, with both being wired directly to AMD's AM4 SoC. This board's top M.2 slot offers support for M.2 22110 devices.

The second M.2 slot on this motherboard shares four PCIe 2.0 lanes with the board's final PCIe x16 slot, with both being connected to AMD's B450 chipset. The board also offers a single PCIe 1.0 slot for connectivity.

The rear IO of this motherboard offers two USB 3,1 gen 2 ports, six USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports, DVI and HDMI display outputs and a single Gb ethernet port. The motherboard's IO shield has also been integrated into the board's IO/shroud.

The MATX B450 Aorus M appears to be a more affordable offering, featuring a smaller VRM heatsink that covers fewer components than the ATX Aorus B450 Pro.
Unlike the ATX B450 Pro, the B450 Aorus M features a single M.2 22110 slot with PCIe 3.0 4x connectivity, with the board's top PCIe 16x slot featuring full PCIe 3.0 x16 connectivity while the second/bottom x16 slot features PCIe 3.0 x4 connectivity, which is shared with the board's single M.2 connection.
