Twitch plans on releasing a dedicated desktop app on March 16th

Twitch has now announced plans to release a dedicated desktop app on March 16th, coming with support for several additional social features.

This new application will be based on the Curse Twitch app, which Twitch officially acquired in 2016, with official support for Twitch and will add tools for screen sharing, voice and video chat and new community/mod tools.

In the future, this new app will also become the host to the Twitch storefront, which will be launched in sometime this Spring.

Peace
Hopefully this will also improve streaming with less resources needed etc.

For watching streams, I don't actually WANT an app, because customization with the FF Add-On Stylish is pretty neat.Quote
