Total War: Warhammer will get a free Lord/Faction DLC this month

Total War: Warhammer will get a free Legendary Lord/Faction DLC on October 20th, coinciding with the release of the game's "The King and The Warlord" DLC.

This DLC will add the Legendary Lord Wurrzag to the Bloody Handz Orc tribe, adding them as an alternative faction for the Orcs and allows you to fight as or against this Lord in singleplayer or multiplayer battles.

Wurrzag will have his own questlines and unique perks in the game's campaign, alongside a large selection of unique perks and abilities. This update will also add several units to the roster of the Chaos Warriors.

One more DLC to add to the Christmas Sale pile - while it's a great game, the total cost of the DLC is a bit extreme.Quote

It's not even bad. Only one you could complain about is the CotB DLC. Yet if you don't like hordes, you don't need to get it. If you do, then yes a little pricey. Without it, no not really. I've seen much worse. These DLCs always come with FLC alongside with it, you are still getting content at the very least. Can't say that about other companies.Quote

While the FLC is appreciated, the DLC seems overpriced compared to proper expansions e.g. The Witcher 3 expansions. I'd be happier to throw down £20 if they had expansions that contained several races, and a new campaign e.g. DoW expansions.Quote

Those are expansions. Not DLC. Also, CotB was exactly what you described. New race, new mechanics, new campaign. Even less than 20pounds.
Bothers me how everyone compares to the W3. Yes it's a great game, one of my favorites all time, however does not mean you can just compare everything to it, DLC and expansions are not the same thing.Quote
