Torchlight is currently available for free on PC

For the next week, Torchlight will be available for free on PC, assuming that Microsoft Windows is your OS of choice. Sadly, Torchlight’s MacOS and Linux versions are not available as part of this free promotion, with the game’s Linux version being exclusive to the Humble Store.

This free game promotion comes via the Epic Games Store, who have made Torchlight available for free until July 18th, after which Limbo will be available for free on the platform. Strangely, the Epic Games Store doesn’t appear to be selling Torchlight’s MacOS version (as the OS is mentioned nowhere on the game’s store page), despite the fact that the storefront supports the operating system. 

Torchlight is an action role-playing hack and slash dungeon crawler, which sports a fantasy theme and was released to highly positive reviews in 2009. The game has received a sequel in the form o Torchlight 2, which released in 2012 and is due to be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Switch in September 2019.
