The Witness is now available for Free on the Epic Games Store

Epic Games and Thekla are currently offering The Witness, the highly reviewed puzzle game, for free on the Epic Games Store, providing support for both Windows and MacOS.

The Witness released back in 2016 with almost universal praise on PC and PlayStation 4, with the game seeing releases on Xbox One, Nvidia Shield, MacOS and iOS after the game's initial launch.

Now, the PC version of the game is available for free via Epic Game's controversial storefront, giving PC gamers an opportunity to play this classic puzzler. The game contains around 650 puzzles in total and delivers a simple, yet aesthetically pleasing art style, providing players with challenging, yet surmountable puzzles and stable performance over a wide range of PC configurations.

On the Epic Games Store, The Witness will be available for free until April 18th, after which a new game will become available for free on the platform.

Until they feel that they no longer need to give users the incentive, or when the Fortnite money starts to run out. Whichever comes first.Quote
