The Division 2's PC System Requirements Are Now Available

Ubisoft has made two major announcements for The Division 2's PC version, confirming that the game will launch on both Uplay and the Epic Games Store (not Steam) while simultaneously revealing the game's PC system requirements. 

On PC The Division 2 will support an unlocked framerate, resolutions beyond 4K, HDR ultrawide displays as well as variable refresh rate monitors. AMD has also worked with Ubisoft to help optimise the game, generating improvements that Massive Entertainment claims will benefit all PC gamers.  

The trailer below details some of the unique features of The Division 2's PC version, with the game's PC system requirements being available below the trailer. The game will support DirectX 11 and DirectX 12. 
   


Below are The Division 2's PC system requirements, detailing the PC hardware that is required to run the game at 1080p 30FPS, 1080p 60FPS, 1440p 60FPS and 4K 60FPS. 

Minimum – 1080p/30 FPS

OS: Windows 7 ,8, 10
Processor: AMD FX-6350, Intel Core I5-2500K
Memory: Processor: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: AMD Radeon R9 270, Nvidia Geforce GTX 670
VRAM: 2 GB
DIRECT X: DirectX 11, 12

Recommended – 1080p/60 FPS

OS: Windows 7, 8 ,10
Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 1500X , Intel Core I7-4790
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: AMD RX 480, Nvidia Geforce GTX 970
VRAM: 4 GB
DIRECT X: DirectX 11, 12

High – 1440p/60 FPS

OS: Windows 7 ,8, 10
Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 1700, Intel Core I7-6700K
Memory: 16 GB RAM
Graphics: AMD RX Vega 56, Nvidia Geforce GTX 1070
VRAM: 8 GB
DIRECT X: DirectX 11, 12

Elite – 4K/60 FPS

OS: Windows 7 ,8, 10
Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X, Intel Core I9-7900X
Memory: 16 GB RAM
Graphics: AMD Radeon VII, Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 TI
VRAM: 11 GB
DIRECT X: DirectX 11, 12

The Division 2 will release on March 15th on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Says that in the first paragraph. Apparently, Ubisoft also wanted to do that with the new Far Cry, but they waited until too late.Quote

Pull out of a contract with Valve! and have the Gaben upset? probably a smart move to not burn their bridges, just incase. Steam are still the leading games distribution platform on PC aren't they?

On the game side lets just hope they have also supported some more interesting gameplay. The first one was so boring, good mechanics but it was a game of unlock a new skill and go and do the same thing over and over and the novelty wore off very quicklyQuote

Pre-orders were already available on Steam for Far Cry. The Division 2 was just a landing page when Ubisoft made the call.Quote
