Activision has announced that they plan to move the release date of the Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy forward to June 29th, almost two weeks earlier than the game's previously scheduled release date of July 10th.

While the game is already available on PS4 and PS4 Pro, this new release date will bring the title to all major gaming platforms, to Windows PC via Steam, Xbox One/Xbox One X and Nintendo's Switch console. Before 2018 the trilogy sold 2 million copies on Sony's gaming platform alone, with the title's multiplatform release being expected to increase these sales numbers significantly.
Activision has recently confirmed their plans to release a remastered edition of the original Spyro the Dragon Trilogy, call the Spyro Reignited Collection, on PS4 and Xbox One, though it is likely that a PC version will release at a later date.

Crash Bandicoot has been working hard to look good for his debut on new platforms. The fan reaction to the news that he’s coming to Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam was the extra push needed and now he’s ready nearly two weeks early!

Originally slated to launch on July 10, Crash is making the WUMP earlier than expected on June 29! The Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is available for preorder now on the new platforms, so clear your calendars and get ready to jump, wump, spin, smash and Crash on your platform of choice!

One criticism that can be levelled at the Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy is the game's 30FPS framerate on PS4 and PS4 Pro, something which was present on the original trilogy on PS1 but was upgraded to a smoother 60FPS for the game's PS2 sequels. An early build of the game did feature 60FPS playback for the N.Sane Trilogy, giving PC gamers hope that the title will offer higher framerates.

The Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy will release on Steam, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on June 29th, with the PC version being available to pre-order on Steam for £34.99. Below is the N.Sane trilogy's minimum PC system requirements.

OS: Windows 7
Processor: Intel Core i5-750 @ 2.67GHz | AMD Phenom II X4 965 @ 3.4GHz
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 2GB / AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB
