Tetris Effect is coming to PC - Another PS4 Exclusive bites the dust

Tetris Effect, the "ultimate version" of Tetris, is moving away from the Sony's PlayStation 4 platform, coming to PC, like many other PS4 titles before it, to the Epic Games Store.

Much like the game's PS4 version, Tetris Effect will release with support for both VR and non-VR platforms, with the PC version also boasting unlocked resolutions/framerates, better textures, more advanced graphical effects and support for ultra-wide resolutions.

VR support for the game will be available on both Oculus and SteamVR complaint platforms, with the game being playable with gamepads, VR controllers and even the Oculus remote.

Pre-orders and early orders, within the first two weeks of availability, will be able to purchase Tetris Effect with a 20% discount, reducing the game's £31.99 price tag to £25.59  in the UK. Purchases will also include 4K desktop wallpapers and the game's Original Soundtrack Sampler with seven tracks.

Really hope this trend catches, I would love to see The Last of Us, GoW and the main square Enix releases reliably coming to PC, the same way I'm loving to see Halo and Gears on PCQuote

I doubt we will see Sony's first-party lineup come to PC, but I do agree that this PS3/4 to PC conversion trend is great.Quote
