Sudden Strike 4 gameplay trailer and PC system requirements

The RTS genre is far from dead on the PC platform, though it is undeniable that the genre is not as active as it used to be, with genre staples like Command and Conquer and Warcraft be almost a forgotten memory.
Sudden Strike 4 aims to pump some more life into the RTS genre, with a large 20 mission campaign over three factions, Allies, Soviets and Germans as well as a large challenge focused multiplayer skirmish mode.
In this game players will be storming the beaches of Normandy, leading tank battalions over the Ardennes and strategically maneuvering your units to take advantages weak spots on your enemies armour.

Below are the PC system requirements for the Windows version of Sudden Strike 4, with the game also releasing on SteamOS/Linux and Mac OS.

This game will require quite a beefy system to run well on PC, though at this time the game is still in active development and is likely to run on lower end systems at launch. At this time, Kalypso developments have not released the game's minimum PC system requirements, though these are expected to be released much closer to launch.

    • OS: Windows 10
    • Processor: Intel Core i5-4590
    • Memory: 8 GB RAM
    • Graphics: Nvidia Geforce GTX 980
    • Network: Broadband Internet connection
    • Storage: 12 GB available space

Sudden Strike 4 will release in Spring 2017 on Steam.

Looks fun but it also looks nearly the same in every way as CoH... I can forsee a lawsuit..Quote

I always preferred sudden strike to CoH, the whole idea of 'squads' didn't work well for me, especially as you then had to tack on special abilities to that squad etc. It was always a bit like a modified version of Dawn of War (which of course, it is) to me.

Sudden Strike was always about throwing hundreds of troops at beaches covered in MGs and.. losing a lot of them lol.

I'm not sure it looks the same in every way tbh, Sudden Strike has quite a few years of pedigree over Company of Heroes...Quote
