For the next 44ish hours, both Stronghold HD and A.D. 2044 are both available for free on GOG, with both games coming without DRM of any kind and requires only a GOG account to redeem.

After redemption, both games will be available to download for free as an installer or through GOG's Steam-loke Galaxy client. Both options will give PC users full access to both games, though the installer option will allow gamers to avoid GOG Galaxy if they wish.

Stronghold HD is a high-definition rerelease of Stronghold, which was originally released back in 2001. This graphical update makes the game much sharper looking while also improving the game's support on modern operating systems, giving modern PC gamers a much better expereince.  This game comes with 21 single-player missions, though a game editor is also available to create your own custom maps. This game also supports 8-player LAN battles.
