Star Wars Battlefront 2 trailer leaks before official reveal

A trailer for Star Wars Battlefront II has leaked before the game's official reveal, showcasing an all-new story and multiplayer battles across several Star Wars Eras.

The trailer starts off from the perspective of an Imperial soldier on Endor and the Death Star MKII exploded in orbit, heralding the start of a new war as the Empire fights for survival and the Rebel Alliance fight to restore the Republic. It looks like the game's story will take place between Episode VI and Episode VII, though the game could have several mini campaigns that span multiple Eras.

We can also see characters like Darth Maul (Episode I) and Kylo Ren, confirming that the game's multiplayer will span the whole series of films and not just the "Fall of the Empire" period of the Star Wars timeline.

Star Wars Battlefront II's official reveal will take place on April 15th at 2.30pm ET/ 11:30am PT at an event called Star Wars Celebration. The game will also be playable at EA's Play Event at E3 2017.

I'm not saying it like it is a bad thing, Maul is great. He was a criminally underused character in the films. Lucas really ruined him.Quote
