Saints Row 4 is free to play this weekend

Volition Studio's Saints Row 4 is free to play this weekend, with the full game coming with a price reduction of 75% (costs £2.74) and the game's Game of the Century Edition coming with a colossal 80% price reduction (now costs £2.99).

This will allow PC gamers to play/test Saints Row 4 for the next two days and then buy it with a steep discount if they want to continue playing.

Saints Row 4 comes with a lot of content in its base version, though it also features full Steam Workshop support to support 3rd party modding, with new weapon kits, clothing options and character skins being available to players of the game on Steam.

Below are the PC system requirements of Saints Row 4, which are low enough to run well on any relatively modern gaming PC.

OS: Windows Vista (x86 or x64)

The game itself is very satirical, it is a GTA style sandbox but in Saints Row 4 the player quickly gets super powers. There are lots of references to older video games and movies and I found it to be very enjoyable.

I'd play it free today while the offer still stands and buy it if you like what you see. If you enjoy the content there is a lot of it for your money here.Quote
