Respawn Entertainment releases their first story trailer for Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond

A new Medal of Honor game is due to release before the end of 2020, and unlike the series' other entries, this addition to the franchise will be an Oculus VR exclusive.

Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond is Respawn Entertainment's passion project, offering players a thrilling single-player experience which places VR users in the shoes of an OSS agent within war-torn Europe. Players will participate in a series of land, air and sea battles which span from the beginnings of the French Resistance to the Omaha Beach landings of D-Day.  The game is said to include a total of 50 levels and place players in aircraft, tanks and a variety of other scenarios.

Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond is due to release on PC in the Holiday 2020 timeframe. At this time Respawn Entertainment has no firm release date or PC system requirements.  Above and Beyond will feature both a single-player campaign and multiplayer modes.

Coming in 2020 from Respawn Entertainment and Oculus Studios. Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond brings the historic battlefields of World War II back to the forefront for an epic AAA experience like no other. You’ll play as an Allied agent of the Office of Strategic Services (OSS), tasked with infiltrating, outgunning, and outsmarting the Nazi war machine. As you complete your tour of duty across Europe, you’ll collaborate with the French Resistance, working to sabotage Nazi operations from behind enemy lines.

In addition to both a full narrative campaign and multiplayer modes, Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond includes a unique story gallery, letting you sit with WWII veterans and survivors to hear their stories while witnessing first-hand the events and locations that have shaped our history.
