Pre-Orders for Phoenix Point, an X-COM like strategy game, begin - PC System Requirements Released

Phoenix Point, a new turn-based strategy game from Julian Gollop, who is known as the creator of the XCOM series, has now become available for pre-order on the Epic Games Store.

At this time Phoenix Point is only available to pre-order on the Epic Games Store and via the game's official website, which currently states that redeemable game codes will be provided that will allow PC gamers to download the title on the Epic Games Store. At it stands, the game appears to be an Epic Games Store exclusive.

At this time Phoenix Point is set to release in September 2019, and Snapshot Games, the developer behind the title, have released the game's official PC system requirements, though these hardware specifications may be subject to change.

Snapshot Games plans to give purchasers of Phoenix Point's Platinum and Signature Edition early access to Phoenix Point, though at this time it is unclear when or how this early access version of the game will be delivered.
