One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows has been announced for PC

Bandai Namco has officially announced One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows, which is "coming soon" to PS4, Xbox One and "PC Digital". The game will be a 3 vs 3 fighting game and the trailer below showcases some of the game's included characters, which includes Saitama, Genos, Hellish Blizzard, Speed-o'-Sound Sonic and Mumen Rider. Boros was also shown at the end of the trailer, suggesting that he may be a playable character.

At this time Bandai Namco has not revealed where the PC version of this game will launch, though it is likely that the game will release on Windows via Steam.

For those who do not know what One Punch Man is, it is a Manga which is based in a world containing monsters and heroes, where humanity could easily be wiped out if not for the efforts of superpowered individuals. The series exploded in popularity after the release of season 1 of the One Punch Man anime in 2015.

Like most fighting games, A Hero Nobody Knows' characters will almost certainly be powered up or de-powered for the sake of balance, as otherwise, Saitama will win every fight with a single serious punch and Mumen Rider, who's basically just a helpful man who rides a bicycle, would be easily taken out by most other characters in the series. At this time it is unknown whether or not monstrous characters will be playable.

I literally don't understand this show, any clip I see on FB leaves me thinking; what the hell is the point of a TV show about someone who can win every fight with one punch.. lolQuote

A lot of Saitama's presence in the anime is for comic relief and his raw power allows the focus to shift more towards the monster or villain whenever he fights.

TBH, the fights with real stakes are the ones that other characters take part in. Season 1 is very good and it definitely worth watching. The animation is amazing.Quote

It's very good! As WYP says the sheer power of Saitama is more comic relief than all about him winning all the time.Quote

I found his cyborg buddy more comic relief. Seeing Saitama, a bungling clueless hero tripping through life with ease as his master.Quote
