Obsidian Entertainment delivers an extended gameplay demo for The Outer Worlds

While many followers of E3 may be gobbling up every detail they can about Cyberpunk 2077, it’s worth remembering that Cyberpunk isn’t 2019’s most highly anticipated RPG. That honour instead goes to Obsidian Entertainment’s The Outer Worlds, which is set to release on October 25th on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

As part of E3 2019, Obsidian Entertainment received the opportunity to demonstrate their game at the E3 Coliseum, delivering gamers a gameplay demo that lasted around 25 minutes and was followed up by a further 25 or so minutes of additional chat and commentary. This demo acts as one of the best ways to see The Outer Worlds in action, as well as get an insight into the game’s development and the reasons behind many of the game’s unique mechanics.

In this demo, players will be able to have a look at combat, dialogue options and have a look into the planet or Monarch, a failed attempt to create an earth-like world.

On PC, The Outer Worlds will be available on both the Windows Store and the Epic Games Store, with the Windows PC version coming as part of Xbox Game Pass for PC. More information for Xbox Game Pass on PC is available here.
