Nvidia confirms that Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 will support RTX Technologies

Nvidia has confirmed that they are Paradox Interactive's official graphics hardware partner from Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2, which means that both companies will be working hard to integrate RTX technologies such as real-time ray tracing and DLSS into the game.

Right now, Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 is set to release in Q 2020, with Nvidia's RTX announcement confirming that the game will utilise a modern graphical API like DirectX 12 of Vulkan, as older APIs will not support hardware accelerated ray tracing.

Nvidia hopes that their involvement with Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2;s development will result in "the best possible experience for PC gamers". Additionally, Paradox Interactive has confirmed that the game will support mods on PC, just like the original.

At this time Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 lacks an exact release date of firm PC system requirement and has been confirmed for release on both Xbox One and PlayStation 4. With its Q1 2020 release date, it is likely that Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 will release before the next-generation of consoles, though an enhanced "next-gen" version could be possible for Sony's PlayStation 5 and Microsoft's Next-Gen Xbox.
