Microsoft's Windows 10 April Update will release on April 30th

After several delays it looks like Microsoft's Windows 10 April update will finally be makings its way to end users, launching on April 30th. The update will offer users new features like Cortana Dictation, new options for Edge, a Timeline service which will help users quickly navigate to previously visited web pages and documents and usability improvements to Windows 10 HDR support.

With an initial release on April 30th, it is likely that most Windows 10 users will not receive any update notifications until sometime in May, making the update; rumoured "Spring Creators" name seems a lot more appropriate.

From April 30th Windows 10 users will be able to update their PCs manually, with Microsoft's latest changes to Windows 10's installer allowing more of their software update to be delivered before rebooting, reducing system downtime by over 50% when compared to last year's Creators Update.
