Microsoft releases their Windows 10 October 2018 Update... In mid-November

The wait is over, after all of the delays and bug fixes Microsoft has finally released Window 10's October 2018 Update, adding support for DXR (DirectX Raytracing) to the OS as well an OS "Dark Mode" and a feature which "suppresses Windows Update driver installs and blocks Windows Update interruptions such as restart notifications while you’re gaming". There are plenty of reasons to consider updating to the latest version of Windows 10.

It has taken over a month for Microsoft to release their Windows 10 October 2018 update, addressing the numerous bugs which plagued the update's original incarnation, forcing the software giant to miss their October release window, a matter which will no doubt put a dent in the company's pride.

On top of their other changes, this OS update is designed to offer decreased system downtime, using AI and smart system management to reduce the update's size by 40% while also reducing system downtime by 31% when compared to the Windows 10 April 2018 update. Future OS updates will also use the same efficiency tweaks to make updating Windows 10 less hassle-free than ever before.
