Microsoft Flight Simulator will release on Steam and receive VR support in a post-launch patch

Microsoft Flight Simulator is due to release on August 18th, and Microsoft has confirmed that the game will be releasing on Steam, Xbox Game Pass For PC and the Microsoft Store.

In addition to this, Microsoft has also confirmed that VR support will arrive in Microsoft Flight Simulator as part of a post-launch update, with Microsoft confirming that this game will support the HP Reverb G2, which will be available later this year. At this time, it is unknown which VR headsets will officially support the game, though you can guess that SteamVR complaint headsets will be supported.

On Steam, Microsoft Flight Simulator will be available for £59.99 on launch day, and through Xbox Game Pass the game will be available for free to subscribers to the service. At the time of writing, Xbox Game Pass for PC costs £3.99 per month.
