Mass Effect Andromeda Exploration Trailer

Bioware has released a new Mass Effect Andromeda trailer, showcasing the game's exploration mechanics and some breathtaking visuals.

This trailer details how players can travel around the galaxy in Mass Effect Andromeda, a galaxy with over 100 different planets to discover but only a "handful" of planets to land on and explore directly. Each planet will have its own unique circumstances and challenges, with certain tasks and stories to complete before the world can be colonised, this includes solving political issues with the locals and solving environmental issues.

Players will be able to travel across these large worlds using the Nomad, an upgradable vehicle that offers player life support and can be used to complete certain tasks and objectives.

This new trailer has been delivered in 60FPS, hinting that the console release of the game may be targeting 60FPS instead of 30FPS, which is great news for those that demand a high framerate. That being said Bioware hs not officially announced that the game will support 60FPS gameplay, and could be simply using PC footage of the game for trailers.

Hopefully, Bioware will be clearer about the game's framerate soon, as to say the least advertising the game as 60FPS in trailers could be seen as false advertising for console users. One other thing to note is that if the game runs at 60FPS on consoles, the game will be easier to run at the game framerate on PC, which would be good news for PC gamers.

Below is Mass Effect Andromeda's full PC system requirements.

As Nvidia are involved with this I have an inkling that to get a decent frame rate at decent'ish settings you'll all of a sudden need a 1080 Ti Quote

Hehe. I'm not buying it either. Yearly upgrades are kinda unnecessary these days with G-Sync and Freesync available. Anyway Mass Fettes: Baxdromeda, looking forward to it!Quote
