Is your PC ready for Persona 5 Strikers? PC System Requirements Released

Persona 5 Strikers is coming to PC on February 23rd on Steam, bringing Persona 5’s sequel to PC before the original game. Thus far, Atlus has only released Persona 5 on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, refusing to release the game on other platforms. 

As a direct sequel to Persona 5, Persona 5 Strikers PC and Switch launches make little sense, as only users of Sony consoles will have any experience with the game. That said, it is nice to see more of the Persona series come to PC, even if Atlus’ release schedule makes no sense. 

On PC, Persona 5 Strikers will release with the game’s Japanese and English voice acting, full mouse/keyboard support and support for resolutions as high as 4K. The game will be a DirectX 11 title and is designed to support Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 operating systems. 

Hardware-wise, Persona 5 Strikers can run on PCs with GPUs as low-end as Nvidia’s Geforce GTX 660 and AMD’s Radeon HD 7870, both of which launched in 2012. If your PC is a better than a mid-range gaming PC from 2012 onwards, you will be able to run Persona 5 Strikers. 

On the higher-end, Atlus recommends graphics cards like AMD’s Radeon HX 7970 and Nvidia’s GTX 680, neither of which are high-end by today’s standards. Persona 5 Strikers will be incredibly easy to run on gaming PCs from the past 5-6 years. RAM-wise, the game runs best with 8 or more GB of RAM. 

Strangely, Persona 5 has been listed with a minimum storage requirement of 10GB and a recommended storage requirement of 20GB, which could mean that Persona 5 Strikers will have optional content on PC. Perhaps the game features a high-resolution texture pack, or PC gamers will have the option to uninstall one of the game’s voice packs. It is also possible that the 10GB listing is a typo. We cannot rule out the possibility at this time.
