too bad they decided to gate off spec ops survival mode on PS4 for an entire f**king year.

By the time you get to play the game on other platforms, Activision will already talking about their next CoD release.

Youre gonna need to fork out and buy a PS4 if you want access to the game mode. Everyone that doesnt have access to the game mode still need to pay full price for the game.Quote

Hate it too... Hopefully that part of Spec Ops doesn't have any story like BO's Zombies storyline so we're not missing much. Fighting off waves of enemies can be a fun sidequest, but nothinig I'd be playing too much anyways. I usually grind the associated achievements and that's it.

The story trailer got me hyped though! It actually made me not cancel my preorder Quote

aparently one of the devs came out to run damage control stating that the gated off game mode isnt even 1% of the game and doesnt detract from the full experience.

But if it isnt 1% of the game. Why the hell are Sony paying so much money to Activision just to gate it off behind the value of a PS4 console for an entire year?? There has got to me more to the game mode than just 1%Quote

Possibly free publicity. Everyone is talking about it now, then someone saying this is only 1% of the game, meaning easily duped people will think "woah, the game must be massive. I need it"Quote

It'll be Sony's price for allowing cross play.Quote
