Hideo Kojima releases 8-minute long trailer for Death Stranding

At 2017's Video Game Awards, Hideo Kojima has released a new trailer for Death Stranding, winning the OC3D award for "Most confusing trailer of 2017£ in the process, revealing remarkably little about the game that translates into what kind of game we should expect here.

Death Stranding is currently slated to be a PS4 console exclusive, with the game being previously rumoured to be coming to PC as well. In this trailer, the game was only listed for PS4, which means that PC gamers should not expect this game to come to their platform, though judging from this trailer I honestly do not know what gamers should expect here.

Death Stranding will be based on Guerrilla Games' Dacima Engine, the same engine that powered Horizon: Zero Dawn, one of 2017's most visually impressive games. At this time, Death Stranding does not have a set release date.

The entire show was trash I didn't even bother finish watching this trailer.

Half the awards were given without a presentation. Just reading off a card naming 4 or 5 devs different awards back to back making it seem like nobody cared. Could even see the reactions of the Devs looking confused.

Only good thing about the show was the pre show's musical performance made up of game music. Was completely downhill after that.Quote

Because the Decima engine is made for PS4, and probably Sony funded.Quote
