Here's what you need to run Detroit: Become Human on PC

Is it as demanding as you expected?

Quantic Dream releases a new PC trailer for Detroit: Become Human

Here's what you need to run Detroit: Become Human on PC

Detroit: Become Human will release tomorrow on PC via the Epic Games Store, and unlike what other publications have stated, Quantic Dream has announced no plans to release their PC titles on other PC storefronts. This means that a Steam or GOG release is far from guaranteed. In addition to this, Quantic Dream has announced no plans to release a PC demo for the game.

With that false reporting out of the way, we can now dig deep into Detroit: Become Human's PC system requirements, which are designed to list hardware that sits above Sony's PlayStation 4 console, recommending more powerful graphics cards and processors than what's contained within Sony's current-gen console.

On the GPU-side, AMD'sRadeon HD 7950 and Nvidia's Geforce GTX 780 are listed as the game's minimum graphics requirements. On the CPU-side, 6-8 logical CPU cores are also listed as a requirement. This fits in perfectly with Quantic Dream's "your PC must be better than a PlayStation 4" mindset.

Like most modern PC games, AMD's RX 580 and Nvidia's GTX 1060 are listed as recommended graphics cards, sitting in line with what's expected to generate 1080p 60FPS gameplay in most modern titles at console-equivalent settings.

With the PC version of Detroit: Become Human, Quantic Dream promises the "most complete" version of the game to date. The game is currently exclusive to the Epic Games Store on PC, with a pre-order price of £29.99. Sadly, Quantic Dream has not confirmed whether or not the game will support 60FPS framerates or unlocked framerates on PC.

Detroit: Become Human, the latest and most ambitious video game production from Quantic Dream, will soon be available on PC! Featuring world-renowned actors like Jesse Williams (Grey’s Anatomy), Clancy Brown (Carnivale), Lance Henriksen (Aliens), and Valorie Curry (Twilight), Detroit: Become Human puts the destiny of both mankind and androids in your hands, taking you to a near and not-so-impossible future where machines have become more intelligent than humans. Every choice you make affects the outcome of the game, with one of the most intricately branching narratives ever created.

FULLY OPTIMIZED FOR PC – Previously only available on PlayStation 4, Detroit: Become Human is brought to PC with stunning graphics, 4K resolution and full integration of both mouse/keyboard and gamepad controls for the most complete Detroit: Become Human experience to date.

Below are Quantic Dream's official PC system requirements for Detroit: Become Human. Sadly, Quantic Dream has not provided us with storage requirements for the game, though they aren't expected to be much higher than the game's PlayStation 4 version.

Minimum Spec:

I'd assume it's going to be at least 60fps considering they made Heavy rain and Two souls 60fps, I've enjoyed both games and looking forward to this release considering people say it's even betterQuote
