GTA V PC-version and GTA Online Heists Release Dates Announced

Grand Theft Auto is one of the most successful and controversial franchises of all time. Its latest installment, named Grand Theft Auto V, launched on PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2013. Last year gamers with a current-gen console could finally shoot hookers and hit-and-run innocent pedestrians, and this version even included a first-person mode. Sadly a PC-version has still not seen the light. However, today Rockstar has announced a release date for the PC-version of one of the most successful games of all-time, alongside a release date for the GTA Online Heists.

If you're interested in playing GTA V on your PC, please mark April 14th in your pocket diary, as that is the day the PC-version will hit the (digital) shelves. Rockstar has given an apology for the long wait alongside the announcement. They'll make it up for you. Read the statement below.

"Our apologies to PC gamers worldwide who have been counting down the days until the launch of the game, but a bit more time is needed to ensure that the game is as polished as possible, and to make certain that both Heists and the GTA Online experience are ready to roll out on day one for PC. As a gesture of thanks for your understanding, we will grant anyone who has pre-ordered the game an additional $200,000 in-game cash for use in GTA Online."

As for GTA Online Heists, you will be able to rob banks with your buddies on the 10th of March. On a console that is, of course. Are you excited for the PC-version of GTA V and Heists in GTA Online? Let us know.

They announced it's been 'delayed' again from the March 24th original release date

I've said it before, I would much rather it be late, and correct.. than rushed.Quote

Disappointing, but as long as they are using all this time to make sure it is optimized and not a broken pile of crap I don't mind. There are other games that are being released to fill in the gap between now and April.Quote
