Rockstar has fixed Grand Theft Auto Online’s messaging exploits with a new security patch

Update 1.66 for Grand Theft Auto V has landed on PC, adding a much-needed security update that addresses the player-to-player messaging exploit that has plagued the game’s online mode for the past few weeks.

Before patch 1.66, GTA Online players could have their accounts corrupted or blocked due to this exploit, effectively making the game unsafe to play online. Thankfully, Rockstar has now addressed this security issue with their latest game patch, allowing GTA Online players to continue playing the game as normal and without any hacking or account corruption concerns.
