FIFA 19's PC System Requirements have been released

EA has officially revealed FIFA 19's PC system requirements, allowing PC gamers to judge how well their gaming system will be able to cope with the latest release of the world's premier Football simulator.

While in most games we would expect some form of generational leap in PC system requirements, FIFA 2019 breaks the trend by recommending the same hardware as the series' previous iteration, taking the DX11 Minimum and DX12recommendedd requirements and repackaging them to become FIFA 19's PC hardware recommendations. Even the game's 50GB storage requirement remains unchanged.

It is worth noting here that FIFA 19 is also designed to run on the same hardware as its 2018 counterpart, which could explain the lack of change in FIFA 19's system requirements, though it is nonetheless strange to see absolutely no changes in the game's PC system requirements.

FIFA 19's PC System Requirements have been announced

Strangely, the PC system requirements for FIFA 19 recommends that PC players utilise Microsoft's DirectX 12 API. On the CPU-side, EA recommends CPUs like the AMD Athlon 870K and FX-4350 alongside Intel's i3-6300T, showcasing how lax FIFA 19's CPU requirements are. AMD's ageing FX series processors are more than enough for FIFA 19.

On the GPU side of the equation, EA lists a minimum of a GTX 460 1GB or an AMD RX 260, while recommending an AMD R9 270X or a GTX 670. EA didn't list the resolution, framerate or settings that these system requirements target.

Min Spec:

OS: Windows 7/8.1/10 - 64-Bit
CPU: Intel Core i3-2100 @ 3.1GHz or AMD Phenom II X4 965 @ 3.4 GHz
Hard Drive Space Required: 50.0 GB
Minimum Supported Video Cards: NVIDIA GTX 460 1GB or AMD Radeon R7 260
DirectX: 11.0

Recommended Spec:

OS: Windows 10 - 64-Bit
CPU: Intel i3 6300T or AMD Athlon X4 870K or equivalent benchmark. Intel i3 4340, Intel i3 4350, AMD FX-4350 and FX-4330 as alternatives.
Hard Drive Space Required: 50.0 GB
Minimum Supported Video Cards: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 or AMD Radeon R9 270X
DirectX: 12.0

FIFA 19 will release on PC, Xbox One and PS4 on September 27th.
