Fallout Shelter will be releasing on Steam later today

Fallout Shelter will be releasing on Steam later today, which means that PC gamers will no longer need to use the Bethesda game launcher to play this title.

This will make it easier for PC gamers to play the title, as most PC users find it daunting to install and use additional independent game launchers. Most PC gamers use Steam, so it is nice to see this title make it to the storefront.

Below are the PC system requirements for the game, requiring a quad core CPU and a minimum of 2GB of system memory and a 64-bit OS. The game is 2GB in size and oddly requires a much higher end AMD GPU to play.

CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q9550 @2.83GHz
RAM: 2GB
OS: Windows 7 64-bit
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250 1GHz; Radeon HD 6970 1GHz
Free Disk Space: 2GB
