Expect some Total War Freebies on Steam this month

In case you are unaware, the software boffins over at the Steam DataBase (SteamDB) have a frequently updated list of planned and ongoing free games promotions on Valve's Steam platform, highlighting free weekends and free-to-keep offers that PC gamers can access.

The latest updates to this list have confirmed that strategy game fans will have a lot to look forward to this month, as Total War: Shagun 2 will be available for free (to keep) on April 27th, and this weekend, Total War: Warhammer II will be available for free as part of a free weekend promo. This free weekend will grant PC gamers three days of access to Total War Warhammer II starting in around three days.

During these free promotions, other Total War titles will likely be available with heavy discounts, allowing PC gamers to get a lot of value out of their next strategy game purchase. Expect to hear more as the Creative Assembly officially announces its Total War offers.
