EA teases Star Wars: Jedi – Fallen Order reveal

EA has reconfirmed that their upcoming Star Wars game, Jedi: Fallen Order, will be revealed this weekend during a special panel at this weekend’s annual Star Wars Celebration.

This event will be viewable live starting at 1:30 PM CDT, which translates to  7:30 PM BST, allowing Star Wars fans to watch the event from anywhere in the world.

Jedi: Fallen Order comes from Respawn Entertainment, the developer behind the Titanfall series and Apex Legends, with Fallen Order acting as a single player experience for players that is set between Star Wars Episodes III and IV.

The game follows a Jedi Padawan in the aftermath of Order 66, who embarks upon a journey which will explore much of the galaxy. The game is set during a time where the Galactic Empire is finding its feet, an era where Imperial oppression is strong but resistance remains weak and disorganised. The galaxy’s few remaining Jedi are being hunted and killed by imperial forces.

At the same event, a trailer for the next Star Wars movie is also expected to be shown. Star Wars Celebration Chicago will take place between April 11 and 15 at McCormick Place, Chicago. New announcements for EA’s Star Wars: The Old Republic is also expected.
