EA releases FIFA 20's PC hardware requirements

EA has released a PC Demo for FIFA 20

EA's FIFA 20 is due to release on September 27th, with PC purchasers of the game's Ultimate Edition gaining early access on September 24th. This early access deal also applies to Origin Access Premier Subscribers.

Until then, FIFA fans can enjoy the game's PC demo version, which features the game's 3v3 Volta mode as well as traditional Champions League games with teams such as Chelsea, Dortmund, Liverpool, PSG, Real Madrid, or Tottenham.

Volta functions similarly to FIFA Street, offer 3v3 to 5v5 matches with variants that include or exclude goalies. Games take place in street locations or other locations such as underground cages and Tokyo rooftops. This mode is about flashy footwork and non-standard play, adding some extra spice onto the FIFA 2020 mix.

EA has revealed the official PC system requirements of FIFA 20, which are largely unchanged when compared to the game's 2019 counterpart. Strangely, the game no longer lists DirectX 12 as a recommended hardware requirement, though the game still recommends Windows 10. With FIFA 2020 continuing to use the Frostbyte engine, it is likely that the game has retained support for both DirectX 11 and DirectX 12.

The video below details some of the gameplay changes that are included in FIFA 20. The game's PC demo is available on exclusively on Origin.

While FIFA 20's recommended system requirements remain unchanged, the game's minimum GPU requirements see a significant increase, jumping from an Nvidia GTX 460 or an AMD R7 260 to a Geforce GTX 660 and a Radeon HD 7850.

By that logic, you might as well say its not changed much in a century... IT's football, you're not gonna radically enlighten the world with game breaking achievements.Quote
