Dying Light: Bad Blood is now available for free to all Dying Light owners on Steam

Techland has announced that Dying Light: Bad Blood, Dying Light’s Battle Royale spin-off, will be available for free to all owners of Dying Light on Steam. Better still, console players will be able to redeem a free Steam code for Bad Blood, which is great news for those who played Dying Light on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One.

All that PC gamers need to do is log onto Dying Light’s docket site, where players can link their Steam, PSN and/or Xbox Live accounts to access a free copy of Dying Light: Bad Blood on Steam. Everyone who owns a copy of Dying Light will be able to redeem a free copy of Bad Blood on Steam, regardless of the platform that they played Dying Light originally.

Dying Light: Bad Blood is a 12-player battle royale title which puts players against infected monsters and human players. The object of the game is to survive and gather blood samples, which will act as the player’s ticket out of the infected zone. Bad Blood also features a co-op duo mode, and a non-co-op mode where each player works on their own.

Bad Blood’s strengths are the same as Techland’s main Dying Light game, combining a strong parkour system with scavengable weapons, and a robust melee combat system.
