Darksiders: Warmastered Edition is coming to PC

Darksiders: Warmastered Edition has been delayed

Darksiders: Warmastered Edition has been delayed, with the game now releasing on November 22nd on PS4 and Xbox One, with the PC version coming one week later on November 29th.
Darksiders: Warmastered Edition will feature Double the texture resolution of the original game and greatly improved rendering and shadows.

The original PC version of Darksiders was not a great PC port, lacking rebindable controls, anti-aliasing options and requires modification to run in multi-monitor or 4K resolutions. Hopefully, these aspects will be improved upon on this new version of the game.

Darksiders is an action role-playing game from Vigil Games, which can accurately be described as a post-apocalyptic Zelda-Like game. At launch this game received overwhelmingly positive reviews, gaining this game a sequel in 2012 and now a current generation remaster in 2016.

Below are a list of new features that this new version of the game will include, though we expect the PC version to feature an unlocked framerate. The PC version of the game will support 4K resolutions, though at this time we have no confirmation on ultra-wide monitor support or with an unlocked framerate.

  • Darksiders: Warmastered Edition Features:
  • - PS4, Xbox One and Wii U versions of Darksiders (Wrath of War)
  • - Native 1080p rendering resolution
  • - Doubled all the texture resolutions
  • - Rendering improvements and rework
  • - Better shadow rendering quality
  • - Post-processing effects
  • - 60 FPS in moment to moment gameplay (PS4, Xbox One, PC, 30 for Wii U)

Darksiders: Warmastered Edition will be releasing on November 22nd on consoles and on November 29th on PC for $19.99 in the US and £14.99 in the UK.
