Cyberpunk 2077 has been delayed until November 2020

CD Projekt Red has confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 has been delayed once again, moving the game's release date from September 17th to November 19thm pushing back the game by over two months.

This will bring the release of Cyberpunk 2077 within spitting distance of both the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5, both of which are due to release in the "Holiday 2020" timeframe.

Cyberpunk 2077 has been confirmed to be finished in terms of both content and gameplay, Quests, cutscenes, skills and items are all ready for gamers, but more time is needed to fully balance the game and fix the bugs which are present within the title. CD Projekt Red has also confirmed that some journalists have been given access to Cyberpunk 2077 to publish previews, which will be released after CD Projekt Red's "Night City Wire" livestream on June 25th.

Below is CD Projekt Red;'s full statement regarding Cyberpunk 2077's delay.

The fact that reviewers have copies - the fact they're preview copies is irrelevant in my view - right now tells me two things: 1. It will get leaked like TLOU2 did. 2. This is so those reviewers can hype the game even further to generate more sales.Quote

I mean does it matter? Cdpr is releasing stuff on the 25th so it's not like they will spoil much
I'm sure their copies have a time limit of availability.Quote
