Crysis Remastered announcement trailer leaks onto YouTube

Update – Updated this report with the official “Crysis Remastered is coming soon!” trailer from Microsoft’s Xbox YouTube channel.

Earlier today, Crysis Remastered leaked, revealing the game’s planned PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC versions, bringing the groundbreaking first-person shooter to modern console platforms and back onto PC with next-generation visuals.

The game promises new graphical features, enhanced textures and some PC exclusive graphical effects, with PC gamers gaining access to “CRYENGINE’s native hardware- and API-agnostic ray tracing solution”, bringing Raytracing to Crysis. This means that PC users should expect a huge graphical uplift, even on hardware that doesn’t support raytracing acceleration.

Now, Crysis Remastered’s announcement trailer has leaked onto YouTube, showcasing a small glimpse of the game. The video embedded below comes via JeuxActu, and gives us a little idea of what to expect from the full game.

At this time, we do not know the release date of Crysis Remastered, what storefronts it will release on for PC and whether or not the game will include both Crysis and Crysis Warhead. This should all be revealed in time.

We can expect Crytek to officially announce the game in the coming days, as the data within this article came from the metadata of Crytek’s Crysis website. With this announcement, we expect to see the game in action with a gameplay trailer, which will showcase the game’s next-generation visuals. We can’t wait to see this game in action.
