Capcom plans to release a new connectivity issues update for Monster Hunter World this week

Since its release on August 9th, Monster Hunter World has been plagued by connectivity issues for some players, giving the title “Mixed” reviews on Steam despite the title’s overwhelming popularity.

Capcom has confirmed their plans to release a new patch for Monster Hunter World on September 6th at 0:00 UTC, which is designed to address the game’s connection errors and some other issues. At this time, Monster Hunter World’s upcoming patch lacks release notes. Monster Hunter: World will be updated to its latest version on September 6th by Steam, with online matchmaking only working between players who use the same revision of the game.

At this time it is unknown whether or not this patch will fully address Monster Hunter: World’s connectivity issues, with last month’s 151910 revision/patch fixing only a handful of the title’s connectivity errors.
