If you thought that Red Dead Redemption 2's storage requirements were insane, you haven't seen anything yet! Yes, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's PC system requirements are here, and this game is ready to eat up almost 200GB of storage.

That's right, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a storage hog, using up a listed 175GB of storage space to include all of the game's singleplayer and multiplayer content. Thankfully, the game's other system requirements are modest by today's standards, aside from the game's DirectX 12 requirement. That said, every modern graphics card supports DirectX 12, so no PC gamers should be left behind.

On the CPU-side, Activision/Infinity Ward recommends, an Intel i3-4340 or an AMD FX-6300, both of which are very weak by today's standards. What's recommended for Modern Warfare are stronger processors like Intel's i5-2500K and AMD's Ryzen 5 1600X processor.

Despite listing DirectX 12 as a system requirement, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is listed with Windows 7 support. At this time it is unknown if Modern Warfare will support DirectX 12 on Windows 10, or if the game will feature a backup DirectX 11 mode.

Graphically, Modern Warfare can run on anything from a Geforce GT 670/1650 or a Radeon HD 7950 or better. Infinity Ward's recommended graphics cards include Nvidia's GTX 970 and GTX 1660 and AMD's Radeon R9 390 and RX 580. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will support DXR raytracing, though no dedicated raytracing system requirements for the game have been released.

What a joke. Did they even try to get the storage requirements down? The game still looks bad and they increase storage requirements an insane amount.Quote
