Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War will be revealed next week

Activision has confirmed that their next Call of Duty game will be revealed next week, Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War. This new entry into the series will be revealed on August 26th and come from Treyarch and Raven Studios.

What we know so far is that the game will utilise an updated version of Call of Duty's new Modern Warfare Engine, which featured significant graphical upgrades over the series' older engines and offered PC gamers ray tracing support.

As the name suggests, Call of Duty: Black Ops: Cold War will be based during the Cold War, and leakers have stated that the game will include a campaign mode, a zombies mode, multiplayer, and support Call of Duty: Warzone. At this time it is unknown how Call of Duty's Warzone mode will change with the release of Black Ops Cold War.
