AMD has discontinued their Raptr AMD Gaming Evolved App

AMD has unbundled the Raptr Gaming Evolved App from their Radeon Software, discontinuing their support for the application, ceasing all compatibility testing and technical support.
The Gaming Evolved application was added to AMD's Catalyst drivers back in 2013, combating Nvidia's Geforce Experience application to give AMD the ability to automatically optimise game settings and record gameplay. The Raptr Gaming Evolved app used crowdsourced data instead of the dedicated testing that Nvidia relied on for the Geforce Experience.
Now after three years AMD has discontinued the "AMD Gaming Evolved" app, without any official announcement or reasoning, though the company has issued this statement.

Starting September 12th 2016, AMD is no longer bundling the “AMD Gaming Evolved App” by Raptr with builds of Radeon Software.

The application will still work. AMD will cease to undertake any compatibility testing, install support or general technical support for this application, nor will it be available through Radeon Software or its installer. Previous builds of Radeon Software that include the “AMD Gaming Evolved App” dated before September 12th 2016 will remain intact and will not be affected.

AMD has discontinued their Raptr AMD Gaming Evolved App

Right now it is unknown if AMD has any plans on replacing the Raptr Gaming Evolved app, though it is likely that AMD will be making their own first party application as part of their Radeon Software Crimson Aniversary driver. At this time this is merely speculation, but AMD has promised new features every year with their Radeon Software drivers.

At this time, AMD has no Geforce Experience Counterpart, giving Nvidia a huge advantage for fans of "pre-optimised" game settings.

AMD need something that is actually worthwhile like GeForce Experience and they need it fast, You'd be surprised as to how many times I've seen people base their buying decision on something like game recording/streaming abilities in various forums.Quote
