A Way Out Reveal - A Co-Op only game?

The new Co-op only title, A Way Out, has been announced at EA's Play Event. Coming from Hazelight Studios, from the same creative mind, Josef Fares, that created the Indie classic, Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons.

This new title comes as part of EA's Originals program, releasing on PS4, Xbox One and PC via Origin in early 2018.

In this title, two players will be able to control both of the game's protagonists at the same time, escaping from prison and going on a mission outside of its walls.

Officially unveiled at EA Play 2017, A Way Out is a couch or online co-op only game where you play the role of one of two prisoners in a daring escape over and beyond the prison walls.

What begins as a thrilling escape quickly turns into an emotional adventure unlike anything seen & played before. A Way Out is a two-player experience. Each player controls one of the main characters, working together to escape the prison and continue beyond into each character’s lives.

Brothers was one of the best stories in a video game I'd ever experienced so I am incredibly excited for this game. I hadn't heard they were making a new game, especially not like this. It looks absolutely amazing.Quote
