A Plague Tale: Innocence is a third-person survival game from 2019 that generated hugely positive reviews from critics and gamers alike. In recent months, the game received an update to support the latest consoles such as Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PlayStation 5. The game is also due to receive a sequel in 2022.
Being from Asobo Studio, the developer behind Microsoft Flight Simulator, A Plague Tale: Innocence’s visuals are steller, especially on PC. At the Steam awards in 2019, the game received an award for “Outstanding Story-Driven Game”.
Follow the grim tale of young Amicia and her little brother Hugo, in a heartrending journey through the darkest hours of history. Hunted by Inquisition soldiers and surrounded by unstoppable swarms of rats, they will come to know and trust each other.
Alongside A Plague Tale: Innocence, Minit will be available for free this week on PC. Minit is a monochromatic Zelda-like adventure where players assume the role of a duck-like being who dies every 60 seconds. Don’t worry, a resurrection follows each death, but as you can imagine, death is a huge annoyance, forcing players into an adventure to break the minute-long curse. This game was available for free previously on Epic’s storefront, which means that many PC gamers will already have this game in their libraries.
PC gamers can redeem their free copies of A Plague Tale: Innocence and Minit on the Epic Games Store until August 12th.
