343 Industries promises monthly Halo: Infinite updates

Halo Infinite is due to launch on PC and Xbox platforms this Fall, and fans of the franchise are concerned about 343 Industries’ lack of updates regarding the game. In a recent Reddit thread, a representative of 343 confirmed that the studio plans to release updates for the game every month while also confirming that the studio’s next “Inside Infinite” update would arrive this week.

While 343’s initial update will not feature “world premiere big screenshots” or a release date announcement, the studio confirmed that this week’s Inside Infinite would offer more detail about what Halo Infinite will include, and what the studios vision for the game is.

Halo fans should not expect to see a lot of gameplay during 343’s next Halo Infinite update, as the studio’s representative has confirmed that gamers can expect “the larger beats and full marketing matching later this year”. Below is an excerpt from 343’s “ske7ch343” comments on Reddit.

we’re committed to at least monthly high level updates and the next “Inside Infinite” is coming out this week! This month we’re talking with members of the sandbox team to share some insights into their vision for Halo Infinite and the work they’re doing. To manage expectations, this won’t have world premier big screenshots or huge things like a date announce, but our goal is to offer our community more context and insights into our team and the game we’re making while we’re all awaiting the larger beats and full marketing machine later this year.
