be quiet! is entering upping its power supply game with the introduction of its new Dark Power 12 series, upping its maximum efficiency rating to 80+ Titanium, which ensures that their Dark Power 12 can deliver 90+% efficiency levels under all workloads.

The Dark Power Pro 12 will release this February with 1200W and 1500W models, delivering a tremendous amount of power for future PC systems. These PSUs are targetted at high power systems, which are growing in popularity with the introduction of ultra-high-end processors like AMD's Ryzen Threadripper 3000 series and Intel's sub-£1000 18-core i9-10980XE processors.

These are the first power supplies fro be quiet! to ship with a fully digital power regulation system and the company's new "frameless silent wing 135mm fan", which are features that are designed to make the Dark Power Pro series more reliable and cooler-running than ever before. When the Dark Power Pro series released in February, the series will ship with a 10-year warranty.

All models within the Dark Power Pro 12 series will ship with individually sleeved cables and cable combs, allowing users of this power supply to easily manage their system's cable and create attractive looking cable runs. These cables will also help users create attractive looking systems, which is a must for a premium power supply.

The Dark Power Pro will also feature a brushed aluminium enclosure and a fine mesh intake. Please note that this aluminium shell is not designed to contribute to the Dark Power Pro 12's cooling, as a sheet of plastic prevents any of the power supply's electrical components from touching the unit's aluminium shell.

be quiet! have created their Dark power Pro with a 6-rail design, with each rail of the unit offering users 40 amps at a minimum. A unique feature for the be quiet! Dark power Pro 12 is the inclusion of an "overclocking switch" which will turn on a single rail mode for the unit, which may be necessary for some niche applications/systems.
