OC3D is Hiring!

We at OC3D want to continue to grow and to deliver more and more great content to you our readers. To do this we need more capable individuals to write news, reviews, previews and other article types. We are looking for people who can deliver written content guys, we are not looking for video reviewers.

To start off reviewing is not what most people dream it to be. Components will not fall from the heavens and into your arms. It is hard work, testing takes its a lot of time, writing takes a lot of time and you will not get to keep everything that comes your way.

If you're still reading this and still want to apply please continue reading, if you didn't like what you have read above then you are not who we are looking for, but thank you for reading this far.

How to apply:

To apply for a position we need to see NEW pieces of writing in the Member Reviews or whatever relevant section of the forums (OLD REVIEWS OR PIECES OF WRITING DO NOT APPLY). What we want here is Reviews or pieces of writing on any product and or subject related to PCs, we only require that writing is new, original to our site and of a high quality.

It is preferable that any Submitted reviews be done in the OC3D format, just take any of our reviews or articles on site as an example.

Inside your review or piece of writing we also you to write an introduction about yourself, your current PC specs and your specialties (expert water cooler, modder). Treat this like you would treat any job application or interview.

We are not looking for quick and dirty reviews here, excuses like "I didn't have much time" or "I have a crap camera on my phone" will not get you a job.  If we like your content Tom will contact you directly via the forums, he is a busy man so don't expect him to speak to you over a second rate review.

If news is more your style, the posting of news content on the OC3D News forum would be a great place to get noticed for that particular role. But what is expected here are smaller, more frequent pieces of writing. You won't get noticed in news as a one post wonder.

If Tom likes what you write he will contact you and will requested to write some more stuff on the forums, so copy/paste tactics will not work here. If you can prove your worth to Tom them a paid position can then be discussed.

If you are still interested we look forward to seeing your Reviews and articles on the forums. I'm sorry all of the above seemed rather dull and to the point, but if your put off by that a job here isn't for you.

OC3D is always looking for new people to join our team and we look forward to seeing what content you can produce.

If you have any questions regarding any available positions please post them here on the OC3D forums.
