Get EA's Dragon Age: Origins For Free?

In recent months, EA's On the House promotion has given away great games such as Dead Space, Wing Commander 3 and Bejeweled for free (Albeit for a limited time). The only cost for these games being the need to setting up, or signing into, an EA Origin account.

This week brings arguably the best EA on the house game to date, Dragon Age: Origins, which will be free until Tuesday the 14th of October.

To be clear here guy the games are free, they are your yours to play, Forever.

Why is Origin doing this? Well this is what EA have to say.

  • "Our goal is to provide a great gaming experience and a way to discover awesome new games. Having a game in your library, for free, is a fantastic way to see what Origin is all about."

While many of you will say that this is an attempt to lure more gamers into the Dragon Age franchise before the games sequel Dragon Age: Inquisition launches next month, remember that this is still a free game, and a good free game at that.

If you haven't experienced Dragon Age it is definitely worth picking up and if your were previously a console gamer now is the time to play this now classic fantasy RPG again on PC.

I have added this to my Origin account, but not downloaded it as of yet. My kids tend to use Origin more than me, especially my daughter, playing Sims!!

On a side note, I posted about this in the games forum, I have been keeping that thread up to date with the latest games that are being thrown out by EA, On The House... So keep an eye out for that post if you are interested.Quote
