Former Apple exec imprisoned for selling company secrets
Former Apple Executive, Paul S Devine, has been sentenced to one year in prison and fined $4.5 million for selling company secrets.
Three years ago Paul Devine pleaded guilty to fraud, conspiracy and money laundering charges and avoided the maximum 20 year sentence for his crimes but was told to pay $4.5 million dollars.
The sentence was given at San Jose Federal Court on Friday the 5th of December 2014, 3 years after he pleaded guilty. No reason was given for the delay in sentencing after pleading guilty.
