Disney releases its first trailer for The Mandalorian Season 2

Disney has just released its first trailer for The Mandalorian Season 2, which is due to release on Disney Plus next month on October 30th. This series will follow on from the events from Season 1 as Mando journeys across the galaxy to return “The Child” (Baby Yoda) to his kind.

On Disney, new episodes of The Mandalorian are due to release every week each Friday, a fact which will encourage fans of the show to hold onto their Disney subscriptions for multiple months.

Rumour has it that Season 2 of The Mandalorian will feature characters such as Boba Fett and Ahsoka Tano, who are both major characters within the Star Wars movies and TV shows alike. These characters will link The Mandalorian with the larger Star Wars universe, and bring the story of Mando and Baby Yoda closer to the rest of the franchise.

Like the show’s prior season, The Mandalorian Season 2 will be exclusive to Disney’s Disney streaming service, like all new Star Wars TV content.

The Mandalorian and the Child continue their journey, facing enemies and rallying allies as they make their way through a dangerous galaxy in the tumultuous era after the collapse of the Galactic Empire.

“The Mandalorian” stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers and Giancarlo Esposito. Directors for the new season include Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Bryce Dallas Howard, Rick Famuyiwa, Carl Weathers, Peyton Reed and Robert Rodriguez. Showrunner Jon Favreau serves as executive producer along with Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson, with Karen Gilchrist serving as co-executive producer.
